Cambodian culture will be highlighted in Long Beach next month when The Cambodian Coordinating Council and Councilmember Dee Andrews hosts its ninth annual Cambodian New Year Parade and Festival.
The event, slated for April 12, aims to feature Cambodian culture and spotlight Cambodia Town and its businesses.
The program begins at 9:30AM with an interfaith program on Anaheim Street and Junipero Avenue. The parade procession will follow from 10:00AM to noon, starting from Anaheim Street and Junipero Avenue to Warren Avenue.
After the parade, the Cambodian Town Culture Festival, with entertainment, authentic Cambodian food and cultural vendors, will begin at noon on the main stage at MacArthur Park, located at 1321 East Anaheim Street.
