'CNRP leaders to meet with Japanese Senators Friday

Yesterday, 20 August, the CNRP leadership met with a Japanese delegation led by a House Representative (Mr. Takagushi, third from left) and a Senator (Mr. Shimidzu, fifth from left). They discussed election reforms.

PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) leaders Sam Rainsy and Kem Sokha will meet Friday with visiting Japanese delegation led by Azuma Koshiishi, vice chairman of the Senate of Japan, according to its statement Thursday. 

The statement said the meeting would take place at 2:00 pm at the National Assembly. 

The CNRP's leaders met Wednesday with Naoto Sakaguchi and Takayuki Shimizu, Japanese lawmaker and Senator, to discussed Cambodia's election and parliament reforms.
