There’s a time when a French woman married her dead boyfriend. And this time a Thai TV producer, Chadil Deffy, also known as Deff Yingyuen, married his dead girlfriend in a combination funeral and wedding ceremony in Thailand.

He married Sarinya “Anne” Kamsook, his girlfriend for the last 10 years, in a wedding ceremony held in a temple in Amphur Muang, Surin, Thailand. The wedding ceremony became big news in the country.

Deffy and Kamsook actually had planned to get married a long time ago, but Yingyuen wanted to focus on his studies before they married. They were both studied at Thailand’s Eastern Asia University, when they met and fell in love each other there, 10 years ago.

Unfortunately, Kamsook died in a traffic accident on January 3, 2012, before the couple set a date for the wedding.

On his Facebook account, Deffy wrote, ‘In your eyes, our action might seem as a great love.

‘But for us, it is the mistake which we could not go back in time to correct. Remember, life is short.

‘Do what you desire, and take good care of the people you love, be they your parents, your siblings. You might never get that chance again.’
